Do you want to lose weight?

Weight loss is in every ones mind. we all look in the mirror at some point and think to ourselves, if only I was a bit thinner. it happens !!!. Everyone in my family talk about weight issues all the time which is why I like to talk about it. I try to do my best to give you accurate advice and reviews.

To lose weight without losing motivation is not easy. the main thing is that you go for a advanced exercise and diet routine and you can't carry it on so you give up. What you should do is start simple. Create your own Exercise table which is easy for you to follow. I suggest something like this:

Monday
  • Jog 30 Min's
Wednesday
  • Jog 45 Min's or cycle 45 Min's
Friday
  • Fast paced run for 10 Min's
  • Walk 10 Min's
  • Jog 10 Min's
this is a good place to start as it will ease you into the exercises and wont stress your body too much. I've split the days up so you get a rest in between the exercises and you can also relax on the weekends. If you are busy on these days you can rearrange them to suit yourself but in my experience this works best. As you become more comfortable with the exercises you can add your own variation or just simply increase the activities.

The second step is to get yourself eating right. You need to mix your meals up and increase you fruit and veg. I suggest you have at least 5 different fruits a day and always have vegetable with your main meals. You also need to have a mixture of:
  • carbohydrates
  • diary
  • protein
  • trans fat (healthy fat)
  • fibre

Motivation to lose weight

One of the major obsticles that get in your way when trying to lose weight is motivation. you might buy an excercise program or a health supplement which is good, but people are looking for a quick fix and what they do is try the products or diet program and after a few days they look in the mirror or weigh themselves and when they see they havent changed they stop doing it. so the first thing you need to do is get your brain in the right frame of mind. dont think you will lose weight overnight or in a few days. set a realistic goal. if you stick to it, you will notice the difference after 2-4 weeks.  

We all know diets work. Every book, article, regimen, fitness plan, you name it works as long as you actually do it. today im going to tell you about getting into shape. you might be overweight and are trying to lose some stones or maybe your like me, someone who wants to look better. the best way to do this is to start with the basics. this is in the form of pushups. yes you might be thinking what the hell this guy is talking about but many people cant even do 10 or even 5 pushups. Pushups are a great way to start increasing your strength and giving your upper body defenition but many people just dont give pushups priority and i dont know why.

Let's take a look at some of the benefits of doing pushups do. they increase muscle in your:

1. your chest
2. hands, forearms, biceps, triceps
3. shoulders, traps, upper back, lower back
4. abs
5. glutes
6. hamstrings, quads, calf, feet
7. your heart muscle gets stronger and your mind get more 'clear', too

But I need to mention so much more:

- you can perform them anywhere, anytime
- you don't need any technical equipment
- it cost you nothing for gym membership or anything else

i suggest you do pushups everyother day because your muscles need time to recover and grow. if you do them everyday there is a big risk of you injuring yourself.
